The Gliga workshop in Romania produces a large range of bowed instruments, from good student violins, violas and cellos right up to high quality hand made instruments which are exported all over the world, for the use of students and professionals alike.

This 2^nd hand cello is from the one of the upper levels of their range, the ‘Gliga I’ is a hand made cello exhibiting a beautiful two piece back plate of narrow regularly flamed maple with matching sides and head; the two piece top of fine quality spruce, all covered in a warm amber coloured varnish.

A lovely cello, well played-in, with a Master set-up and Larsen Magnacore strings for the advancing student.
